The Susquehanna Folk Music Society (SFMS) is thrilled to announce the Susquehanna Folk Festival which will be held on Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29, 2018. It is the first edition of an annual two-day music, dance, storytelling, and craft festival to be held during the last weekend in July at beautiful Roundtop Mountain Resort in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania.
Headliners for this exciting inaugural festival include the legendary David Bromberg, four-time Grammy Award winner David Holt, the great blueswoman Rory Block, amazing Texas swing fiddling Quebe Sisters, and many more!
In addition to music, the festival will feature storytelling performances; contra-, square-, and swing-dancing; an active family area; a wide selection of crafts; and delicious food.
The festival is supported, in part, by a tourism grant from the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau. SFMS is seeking additional sponsorships for the festival from area corporations, businesses, foundations, and individuals. Please download & review the wide array of opportunities to find one that is just right for you. Or contact the SFMS office at 717-319-8409 or email@example.com to discuss a personalized package.
In addition to the satisfaction of supporting a vibrant community event, sponsors enjoy significant visibility through prominently displayed banners; logos on over 10,000 publicity pieces; and logos and mentions on the festival website and in the festival program, in press releases, and in e-mails to over 10,000 individuals.
