Meet the Masters: Rodney Miller of The Stringrays

Rodney Miller (The Stringrays) is considered the foremost exponent of New England style fiddling. He has served as New Hampshire's Artist Laureate and has been nominated for a National Heritage Fellowship Award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

“Meet the Masters” are a series of artist interviews in front of a live audience. The interviews are conducted by our festival intern David Misal, an American Studies doctoral student at Penn State, Harrisburg. The "Meet the Masters" program is intended to give audiences the opportunity to learn about the lives and music of celebrated folk masters.
